Sonja Martin has been presenting workshops and classes for over thirty years. Her focus groups have included teachers, administrators, parents, adolescents, women and business groups. She has traveled throughout the nation presenting her effective strategies for success, while exhibiting her books.
She has authored eleven books (eight for parents, three for teachers, including two in Spanish).
Ms. Martin retired from the K-12 education system in 2002. She has worked as a teacher, principal and school superintendent. Many of her years in school leadership was in the arena of alternative education; working with teens on probation, parole, teen parenting and homelessness.
Her workshops are informative, fun, interactive and WILL increase both personal and professional effectiveness.
Most recently Ms. Martin was elected to the California Senior Legislature. She will serve for four years as a Senior Assembly Person; working on issues to assure a positive quality of life for senior citizens.
